DNS Health History
Track how your DNS health grade has moved over time, with a graph of every scored scan and a chronological log of what changed the score.
The DNS Health History page shows how your DNS health grade has changed over time. Where the dashboard shows your score right now, this page shows the trend — every scored scan plotted on a graph, above a log of exactly what moved the score between scans.
It has two regions: the Score History Graph and, beneath it, the Score Change Log.
Score History Graph
The graph plots your grade at each scored scan, oldest to newest. The line is colour-coded by grade band — green for A down to red for F — so a drop into a lower band is visible at a glance, and a legend maps each colour to its band.
A new point is recorded whenever a scan completes, so the density of the line reflects your scan cadence (the automated Daily Scan at 02:00 UTC, plus any manual resyncs). Simply opening this page does not add a point — the history is built from completed scans, not live readings.
The graph also carries two kinds of marker so you can tell a real posture change from a change in how the score was measured:
- Provider markers — when a provider is connected (its initial sync completes) or removed. Adding or removing a provider changes the size of your estate, which the score is normalised against, so these often coincide with a step in the line.
- Scoring-model markers — when the grading scheme itself changed version between two scans. If your score moves across one of these markers, part of the move may be the new scheme rather than a change in your DNS, so they are called out explicitly.
Score Change Log
Below the graph, the Score Change Log lists what changed, grouped by day with each day's net score movement. Each row is one event:

| Provider added | A provider finished its initial sync and joined your estate |
| Provider removed | A provider was disconnected |
| Scoring model changed | The grading scheme version changed between scans |
New and resolved issue rows link through to the affected record, so you can go straight from "the score dropped on Tuesday" to the specific finding that caused it.
How the score is calculated

How this relates to the other logs
The DNS Health History is the score-focused view of your audit trail. It answers "how has my posture trended, and what moved it?", where the Change Detection Log answers "what changed?" in full detail and Scan History answers "when did scans run?". The issue events shown here are the same detections and resolutions recorded in the Change Detection Log, filtered to those that affect your score.
