What does this mean?
The logo URL in the l= tag of your BIMI record could not be retrieved over HTTPS. The request may have returned an error, been blocked, timed out, or pointed at a non-public address.
Why this is a problem
Mailbox providers fetch your logo over HTTPS before displaying it. If they cannot retrieve the file, they cannot show the logo, so your BIMI record produces no visible result no matter how well-formed it is.
What you should do
- Ensure the
l=URL is publicly reachable over HTTPS - Confirm the URL returns the SVG logo without errors, redirects to non-public addresses, or timeouts
- Use the BIMI Validator to confirm the logo can be fetched
